Lesmurdie Primary School has undergone an exciting transformation. Since October 2021 the school has been completely redeveloped, replacing our outdated buildings with modern, purpose-built facilities. Our official opening was a trip down memory lane as we recalled the history of the school since the days of the one room school house on Brady Road.
Our Vision is for every student to approach learning with purpose, curiosity and optimism. We have been gifted wonderful new facilities it is now up to us to leverage this good fortune in pursuit of our vision.

The school has a new design to fit our local environment and best meet the needs of our students, teachers and community.
Our buildings now open onto a central lawned area, providing the children with a safe and inclusive space to play and learn.
The children still have access to nature play areas and enjoy views of the bush reserve.
Our younger students have a dedicated early childhood learning area – the perfect environment to start their education.
We also retain access to Ray Owen Reserve, as a shared-use oval.
The existing art and music rooms and library remain. We have repurposed the original music room for our Italian Languages program. Our art room has received an upgrade courtesy of commonwealth government funding, making this a truly multi-purpose facility.
Throughout the redevelopment, we have maintained our focus on what matters most, the children and their education. The staff have maintained a clear focus on continuity of the curriculum whilst simultaneously progressign our school improvment agenda. The one-year return visit by the school review team, in August 2023, congratulated us on our professional commitment in leading a "highly scaffolded, clearly articulated and transparent process in improving teaching quality and student achievment and progress". This is a considerable achievement given the addiitonal demands of the build and is testament to the dedication of the staff and the support of our community.
The Dental Therapy Service has returned to Lesmurdie Primary School, located in the Administration building on Sanderson Road.
